AfricAvenir International is a non-profit and politically independent association based in Berlin and committed to fostering more equal relations between Africa and Europe. In this sense, we are committed to the aims of the African Renaissance as well as to the necessity of a critical analysis of the structures of European-African relations. Through our work we intend to put the critical analyses of the German and European imperial, colonial and racist past and presence on the agenda, while at the same time including the central contribution of African and Black analysts, artists and activists.
