With an amalgamation of traditional and modern instruments, both electric and acoustic,
Abakuya's music carries the listener on a powerful and enchanting rhythmic journey: a real call to dance and meditation.

This journey produced a musical album "Primitive Love" in 2008, marking the
return of the polyrhythmic traditions of central Africa. Since then, Abakuya's sound has evolved and been enriched with new textures, weaving fine electro-acoustic compositions that are sometimes gentle, sometimes wild.
