A projectionist in a moviehouse in Algiers, Amou Salah is pushed into retirement and irrelevence. But he refuses to do nothing. Despite his age and declining health, he decides he is going to travel. He equips a truck with projection equipment and as a mobile home. He crosses Algeria from north to south, showing movies - some purely entertaining, some socially engaged - in small towns along the way. Here there is still an audience for his movies.
