Gamila fiancé to Abdallah for seven years must be married soon. The fiancé's family with Zeihom the lead person wants to save the face, for the virginity of the married woman must be save. The future couple having breached this tradition, takes advantage of the marriage ewe to try to separate the hymen whereas people were feasting very well in the family. In a one night there were dramas and tragedies through reboundings cases of deceases, murders, rape and money theft.

Set in one of Cairo's marginalised districts, "Al Farah" takes its ensemble cast through the 24 hours before a very special wedding - one that turns into an event far less fortunate.

The story of a lie in which everyone agrees. Zeinhom (played by Khaled el-Sawi) wants to organize his sister's marriage, while Mahmoud el-Gundi is the one who organizes parties of such kind.

Zeinhom has no sister, though, and he wants to stage this marriage just to get the money he needs to buy a microbus. This money is supposed to be given as gifts by those attending the wedding.

As he has no sister, he rents a husband and a wife who are looking for money.
