At the very moment he begins to cross the line between childhood and adolescence, Lucas has to leave his home at Buenos Aires and move, along with his parents, Federico and Mabel, to the mysterious Patagonia, deep in the south of Argentina. Seduced by a promising work opportunity, the family tries to recreate their home in the isolated location. But Lucas quickly meets the immensity of the Glacier and starts wandering along the gigantic ice extension, looking for answers to its enigmas. Lucas believes something lies beneath the Glacier, something he cannot translate into language. A vibration. A secret.
His parents are unable to listen to him. Federico is too busy pursuing his material goals while he digs into the land to build a vacation resort. Mabel cannot sleep at night, so during the day she is barely awake and stays in the house trying to fight her own daydreams. Soon, what looked like enjoying an adventure while rapidly becoming rich turns out to be a labyrinth of infinite directions where everyone has to look for his own way out.
But the warm voice of the anthropologist Nicolás, a lonely scientist who has lived in Patagonia for many years, may help Lucas to find his road. He might also help the whole family by revealing that behind all the mysteries and secrets there lays a simple truth that many have chosen to forget.

Cuando sus pies comienzan a recorrer los primeros senderos de la adolescencia Lucas, de trece años, debe dejar su casa en Buenos Aires y trasladarse junto a sus padres, Federico y Mabel, hacia la misteriosa Patagonia argentina. Seducidos por una prometedora oportunidad laboral la familia procura hacer de los gélidos y desolados paisajes su nuevo hogar. Pero rápidamente Lucas se topa con la majestuosidad del Glaciar y desde entonces comienza a recorrer el hielo apasionadamente, en busca de respuestas a sus múltiples enigmas. Lucas percibe algo debajo del Glaciar, algo que no puede traducir en lenguaje. Una vibración. Un secreto.
Sus padres son incapaces de escucharlo. Federico destroza los terrenos naturales con sus máquinas para construir un complejo turístico y obedece ciegamente los mandatos de sus ambiciones materialistas. Mabel no puede conciliar el sueño durante la noche y durante el día, apenas despierta, se aísla en la casa e intenta combatir la pesadez de la ensoñación. Pronto, lo que en un principio fuera una aventura atractiva con la fantasmal promesa del asenso social, se convierte en un laberinto de infinitas direcciones.
Pero la voz cálida del antropólogo Nicolás, un huraño y solitario científico instalado en el sur hace varios años, puede ayudar a Lucas a encausar su camino. Quizás, incluso, pueda ayudar a toda la familia revelando que detrás de tantos misterios y secretos yace una simple verdad que muchos han decidido olvidar.
Una reflexión ágil y moderna acerca del hombre de clase media alejado de sí mismo y envuelto en un círculo vicioso de ambiciones consumistas. Una experiencia de imágenes cautivantes e inolvidables que nos recuerda las tremendas consecuencias del olvido y las herramientas para reencontrar las fuerzas más poderosas en la propia esencia.
