Six intimate conversations with black transmen (women transformed into men) of different age groups and milieus. They talk freely about their experiences of transformation and their lives afterwards. Filmed in a graphic black and white, these artists, students, husbands, fathers, lawyers and teachers offer a complex and multifaceted image of trans, and black, identity. The testimonies offer a healthy kick in the pants to the prejudices and clichés around transsexuality.
