On the outskirts of Maputo, the Hulene district is the city's largest garbage dump, a "lixeira". Everyday 700 families dig and collect garbage there, an unceasing struggle for survival in an insalubrious atmosphere. But the "lixeira" is also the place where groups of hip-hop dance were formed.
