Dou is an African painter in his thirties who lives in Paris with Felix, a ten-year-older French man whom he met in Africa. Felix suffers from depression and has even tried to commit suicide. Sylvie, Dou's friend struggles to understand why anyone would want to end their life, and why Dou is devoting all his time to taking care of his unfortunate friend. On Sylvie's birthday the facade cracks and an argument follows.
Talented Guinean director Cheick Fantamady Camara first became known to the world with this award-winning short film, and would later win the Award Audience for "Clouds over Conakry" in 2007, in Fespaco Ouagadougou, Milan and Tubingen.
