Tiiga is a young orphan. Following the advice of his friend, Tiara, he decides to leave his village for the city where he then finds a strange character, Oussou, who is surrounded by children. Oussou claims to have traveled around the world and he knows the Coran by heart. Oussou presents himself to Tiiga as a master who is going to take him under his wing.
Upon arrival to the city, Oussou leaves Tiiga in the care of Joseph, a restaurant manager. Tiiga, who was in fact sold my Oussou, quickly understands the trap in which he has fallen. As he wanders in city with his other companions of misfortune, he manages to escape his master and ultimately find freedom.
