Ouakam is located in the suburbs of the capital of Senegal. In this era of globalization, Ouakam is a village that is somehow managing to preserve its culture, its traditions and its authenticity. As the rainy season approaches, Ouakam lives to the rhythms of singing, dancing and tam-tams, attracting a lot of people who want to discover the richness of the Léboue culture at all costs. The crowds attend exorcisms and rituals where mystical powers are used to ward off bad luck in the village.
