Isugi is een overlevende van de genocide van 1994. Meer dan tien jaar later wordt haar leven nog altijd beheerst door de herinnering aan haar verdwenen ouders. Bovendien moet ze weerstand bieden tegen het seksueel misbruik door haar stiefvader.
