Aicha, a little Burkinabè girl from Ouagadougou was excised at the age of seven. Her grandmother, who accompanied her to the excision doctress, acted in accordance with the tradition. Twenty years later the victim refuses that her daughter undergoes the same practice. She was repudiated and becomes penniless. She decides to fight against excision and succeeds to rally other women and men to fight for the abolition of this practice.
