يعيش كاستون حياة صعبة بفعل عمله الشاق في ميناء أبيدجان، إذ عليه أن يستجيب لحاجيات أسرته وأن يوفر مصاريف الدراسة لابنه فوستين الذي يرغب في الالتحاق بمدرسة الشرطة. بمجرد اقتراضه قسطا من المال من أجل هذه المصاريف، يتعرض كاستون للسرقة من قبل مجموعة من قطاع الطرق. ومنذ لقائه بسيركوي، رئيس العصابة، ستأخذ حياته منعطفا جديدا
