Discipline is an ensemble film. A father slaps his disobedient child in a grocery store. A shocked customer immediately intervenes to express her concern. Several other customers join the conversation to put in their two cents. The situation gradually gets out of hand and into chaos. I wanted to explore the "snowball"effect. The idea was to see how a dozen culturally different characters would react to a specific event. Making this film was an exhausting experience, but I've never felt as alive as I did on the film set. I never knew I could fall in love cinema more than I already had.
