The Casamance region in southern Senegal is one of the last refuge areas in West Africa for a growing number of artisanal fishermen, processors and migrant workers. Faced with increasing external competition, these women and men are resisting by contributing to the food security of many African countries through their hard work. But for how much longer? Carrying, filleting, drying, smoking, exporting... In Kafountine, Senegal, most of the inhabitants live from fishing or related activities.
