After being released from prison, 18-year-old Angel is reunited with his younger sister Abby in her foster home in Philadelphia. Despite their deep bond, the tragedy that separated them has left its mark. Angel knows she must confront the past and convinces Abby to accompany her on her journey. Together, they hit the road, not knowing what this return to their roots will do to them.
