Les3M is the trio formed by Malika, Moses and Matthew. All three were born on the same day, in the same city, in the same neighbourhood in Casablanca. One is Muslim, one is Jewish and one is Christian. Despite their religious and cultural differences, a strong friendship binds them during their childhood and adolescence. But political events in Morocco and in the world separate them. Moses leaves Morocco for Israel, and Matthew for France.
Malika lives this separation in pain and incomprehension.
They will come together again, and despite the events that sometimes brutally bring out their differences of opinion, they will try to remain united and preserve their ties. Their relationship evolves from friendship to love, and from political taste to commitment. They promise to meet on their anniversary date every ten years, and to witness their times by making a documentary.
Will they be able to keep this friendship above all else? Will they be able to free themselves from the madness of the world and be witnesses for future generations?
A story of friendship and love, which goes beyond differences and identities. A journey through the last sixty years of the history of Morocco and the Arab-Muslim world.
