Aziz Domingo was born in the heart of the city in Cape Town. From a very young age, he was passionate about cinema. At the age of 16, he bought his first projector and rented classrooms to show his films. Against the backdrop of apartheid, he shows the destruction of cinemas, the politics of separate audiences, and the life of a marginalized community in the 1960s and 1970s.
A 28-minute documentary directed by Roger VAN WYK and Miki REDELINGHUYS in 2002.
