Part of the series "L'autre Algérie" Douleur muet" (The other Algeria), "Douleur muet" (Silent pain) aims to construct the viewpoint of Algerian children on the drama that their country is experiencing. Beyond their accounts of the facts and situations that have made them orphans, and the remarkable work carried out with them by women psychologists. The discreet and patient camera gives them the floor to express themselves with their innocent look, their memories or their silences. Through this film of psychological investigation, these little beings are asked to give us their particular vision of the Algerian tragedy. How do they understand or explain what happened to them, how did they live before the tragedy, did they sense the imminence of danger? To date, many points of view have been expressed (politicians, journalists, women) but the children's view of this tragedy had not been solicited. In their adoptive families, we will surprise these children in their new relationships, their new games. Their new hopes.
