A group of rebels fighting against the elected government of the country is captured by the United Nations peacekeepers. Most of the rebels were young soldiers captured at an early age and forced to fight among them. With the help of humanitarian groups, the United Nations peacekeepers tried to demobilize these young people and reintegrate them into society to return them to their homes. The main character is Camara. He is 19 years old and has been trained by the rebels. For five years, he had to commit atrocities in their name. Today, he is trying to return to his village but he is not welcome there.
