Koudougou and Poko, a young couple living in the countryside, are expecting their first child. But Poko's labor looks bad and the traditional obstetrician cannot help her. She needs surgery, so the villagers decide to transport her on a cart to the hospital. The road is long and in bad shape, so much that during the journey, the woman dies. The cart turns around and goes back to the village...
