Saïd, an eight-year-old boy, has to take care of his mother's kaftan. On his way back, the kaftan gets stolen. For fear of being grounded, he will join Rabat, the city across the river. He will go to his aunt, to ask for help. Through his misfortune, Saïd will face the reality of society.
