The life of a Moroccan student coming from a traditional family and caught at the crossroads of two civilizations. His sudden return to his village makes him face a real ordeal to secure his place among his fellow villagers and to deserve the love of his sweetheart. The initiation that he underwent shows that his stay among city dwellers did not make him forget peasants' liking for certain customs.
