Jim, Tom and Billy who were forcibly enrolled at ten in an armed rebellion during the civil war are demobilised without compensation. Kadogo, the soldier boys are left alone and decide to go to town. They are welcome by father Joseph, the owner of a Community house for abandoned children and orphans. It is difficult for Tom and Billy to get rid of the bad habits they acquired during the rebellion.
