On the top of a hill, four young boys, Jorge, Brau, Roque and Zequiel dream about setting up a radio that will shout at the world, the voice of the voiceless, and express their story, their music and their culture. The films is based on the true story of the Radio Favela, a community radio created in the 80's, in a big slum of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The radio conquered with a courageous programme and spontaneous language, a large number of listeners and went far beyond the reach of its air waves.
