During the 11th festival of the amateur theater of 1977 in Mostaganem, we follow 4 troupes including the Proletkult of Saïda, the GAC of Algiers, the TRC of Constantine, and a children's troupe of Bordj Menaiel, which as much for the content of the plays (attacks in particular against land feudalism and against the inferior status of women) as even more by the stagings, the involvement of the spectators, the spoken language and the popular humor), make this theater the only artistic contestation in the 70s.
