The director from Benin Jean Odoutan asks three hundreds black actors to gather for the casting of his next movie in front of the Barbès-Rochechouart metro. All the actors come there but the filmmaker does not. They get angry and start fighting over the possibility that West Indians will get involved in the making of the movie. The Africans, claiming that they are the sons of slaves, do not want these non-authentic black people to participate. In a police station nearby, the filmmaker is getting beat up by a West Indian and two white inspectors. They think he is a pedophile because he was handling leaflets with his address to teenagers.
