In the old imperial city of Fez, at sunset, in a magnificent former stately home shared today by rural tenants recently moved to the city, a mother tells stories. A working woman abandoned by her husband who emigrated to Europe, she tries to console her son who was "abducted" to be circumcised without her knowledge.
