Algerian filmmaker and actor.

Born in Bejaia, Algeria. Young agronomy graduate but unemployed, Mohamed Yargui gives volunteer French courses for Alpha Literacy Association where he takes a liking to writing. He studied dramatic arts and film technique at the House of Culture of Bejaia, where through workshops, he directs a few short films. Relying on friends of the workshop, he directed his first short film "At the end of the tunnel." "Houria" was his second film, produced and directed as part of the event "Algiers Arab capital" where he was rewarded. He was first director assistant on the feature film of Abdelkrim Bahlloul, "Journey to Algiers" and has since worked as an actor at the Bejaia Regional Theatre. In 2016 Yargui integrates Soumam Radio, where he produced and hosted a cultural program "Arts droplets." 2016, a year which will also see the release of his new short fiction entitled "I promise you".
