Télesphore Mba Bizo

Télesphore MBA BIZO has been working with the Cameroon Radio Television since 2000 following a competitive crash course on Radio and TV broadcasting and production at the CRTV-owned Centre for Professional Audiovisual training, CFPA. Besides a Bachelor's degree in English-French Bilingual Series with Communication as minor from the University of Douala, he is a holder of both a Master of Arts with thesis in Translation from the Advanced School of Translators and Interpreters in Cameroon (ASTI-Buea), and a Masters-DEA degree in Information and Communication Science from the Advanced School of Mass Communication (ASMAC-Yaounde) in the same country. At the moment, he is enjoying a study leave at the Doctoral Training Unit, DTU, from ASMAC. He is specializing in the domain of audience sociology for films in Cameroon in a general field of study known as Media History and Studies. He is part of the International Federation of Film Critics, FIPRESCI. People can access some of his contributions on the African Federation of Film Critics', AFFC, website.
