Diego Quemada-Diez (Burgos, Spain 1969).

He started his career in Film working as a camera assistant for British director Ken Loach (Land and Freedom, Carla's Song).
He graduated in 2001 from The American Film Institute (AFI).
His thesis film at AFI, A Table is a Table, won the 2001 student award by The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).
Since then he has combined the development of his projects as a Director and working as a cinematographer.
As a camera operator he has collaborated with directors in films like Bread and Roses by Ken Loach, The Constant Gardener by Fernando Meirelles, 21 Grams by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu, She Hate Me and SFCby Spike Lee.
His film A Table is a TableI Want To Be A Pilot was shot in Kenya after working in The Constant Gardener as a Camera Operator.

As a writer, he has also written a poetry book called "I Dreamed I Found My Octogonal Room", soon to be published.
