For several years Marc-Aurèle Vecchione has been deciphering underground cultures and investigating their penetration into mass culture. He has directed several documentaries and fictions. Exploring the history of breakdancing culture is a natural extension of his work, which plunges us into the discovery of ultra-creative artistic universes and into the social, cultural and political history of post-war cultures. In 2014, he directed the series "Bboys" on the history of breakdancing in the USA and Europe, of which "Bboys & Bgirls AFRICA" is the second season.
