Emmanuelle Béart's first leading part was in 1986 in "Manon des Sources" by Claude Berri, followed by a remarkable performance in Yannick Bellon's "Les Enfants du désordre". A prominent figure in arthouse cinema, she acted with Téchiné in "J'embrasse pas", Régis Wargnier in "Une Femme française", and François Ozon in "8 Femmes" as well as classics suchs as Claude Sautet's "Nelly et Monsieur Arnaud". She also appeared in films of the ex-new wave "L'Enfer" by Chabrol and Rivette's "La Belle noiseuse", not forgetting her Hollywood career in films such as "Mission Impossible". In 2008, she plays in three films: "Disco", "Vinyan" and "Mes Stars et moi".
