Born in Ghent, Belgium in 1970. He earned a degree in philosophy. In 1993, he founded the production company Inti Films in Brussels. He
made his first documentary NAZARETH, in 2007. Since then, Krüger has worked as a screenwriter, director and producer. In addition, he teaches film directing at the RITS School of Arts in Brussels and also works as a script consultant.
