Ventura Durall I Soler was born in 1974 in Barcelona, Spain. ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) graduate with a major in script. In 2000 he established the production company NANOUK FILMS with the intention to create an artistic platform of reference in the catalan and european audiovisual scene and a new comunication canal of investigation between documentary and fiction fields. He focus his pedagogical vocation from ESCAC, as he is the head of documentarys department, he supervise the diploma thesis projects and leads the Documentary and Society Master.
His feature film The two lives of Andrés Rabadán which is a fiction take on real Andrés Rabadan's story (that story was simultaneously depicted by Durall in the documentary The Forgiveness) was recognized as the Best European Independent Film in 2009 at the ECU Festival in Paris.

(Barselona, İspanya, 1974) Senaryo yazarı, yönetmen, kurmaca ve belgesel yapımcısı. ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya) mezunu, uzmanlığı senaryo. Katalan ve Avrupa görsel-işitsel sahnesinde bir artistik referans platformu oluşturmak ve belgeselle kurmaca alanları arasında yen bir iletişim kanalı yaratmak amacıyla 2000'de NANOUK FILMS adlı yapım şirketini kurdu. ESCAC'taki Pedagojik formasyonuna yoğunlaştı; Belgesel Bölümü'nün başkanlığını yapıyor, diploma tezi projelerine danışmanlık veriyor, Belgesel ve Toplum Master Programı'nı yönetiyor.

Ventura Durall I Soler se narodil roku 1974 v Barceloně. Vystudoval scenáristiku na ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya). V roce 2000 založil produkční společnost NANOUK FILMS s ambicemi vytvořit uměleckou platformu pro setkávání katalánské a evropské audiovizuální scény a dokumentárního filmu s filmem hraným. Je vedoucím katedry dokumentu na ESCAC. Má na starosti absolventské projekty studentů a je hlavním pedagogem Documentary and Society Master Programme. Jeho celovečerní hraný film The two lives of Andrés Rabadán (vychází ze skutečného příběhu Andrése Rabadana, který Ventura Durall zpracoval v dokumentu The Forgiveness) získal ocenění pro nejlepší nezávislý evropský film na festivalu ECU v Paříži (2009).
