Tunisian Filmmaker, photographer, Independent Producer and Conceptual Artist.

Born in Tunis (Tunisia), Sawssen SAYA (Sawssen Saya) is a film director, photographer and conceptual artist.
After studying literature, she entered the Higher Institute of Art and Multimedia of Tunis (ISAMM). She first works for television. Admitted to the competition of "10 shorts, 10 looks" 2nd edition, she participates with her short film "Fée / Mâle" produced by Long and Short Production (2008) with which she participates in various writing and directing workshops.

In 2012, she co-directed with Tarak Khalladi "Bousculades April 9, 1938" which won the Silver Tanit for short film at the 2012 JCC and the Artistic Excellence award at the Luxor Film Festival in Egypt. He was also selected in official competition at the Vues d'Afrique Festival in Montreal as well as the Malmö Arab Film Festival in Sweden and the Cannes Film Festival in 2013.
She is the Set Photographer for the feature HEDI (Inhebbek Hed) directed by Mohamed Ben Attia (Berlinale 2016).
