Claus Wischmann is an author, director and executive director at sounding images. After studying the piano he wrote and directed over forty documentaries and television features; he has also recorded concerts and made documentary portraits. His films, many of them are about music, have been shown at such prestigious international festivals and competitions as Fipa and Golden Prague and have won among others the Audience Award at Golden Prague and the American Golden Eagle Award.

Claus Wischmann ist Autor, Regisseur und Geschäftsführer von sounding images. Nach seinem Klavierstudium hat er als Autor und Regisseur über vierzig Dokumentarfilme, Reportagen, Konzertaufzeichnungen und Portraits realisiert. Seine Filme, die oft die Musik zum Thema haben, liefen im Wettbewerb mehrerer internationaler Festivals wie Fipa und Golden Prague und gewannen u.a. den Audience Award beim Golden Prague Festival und den amerikanischen Golden Eagle Award.
