Felix Seuffert, lives and works as freelance photo journalist and cameraman in Hannover, Germany and Cape Town, South Africa.

1984 born and raised near Tübingen, Germany.
From 2005 Photojournalism studies at the Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts
2008 Internship as staff photographer for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Ever since freelance photography work for FAZ, Brigitte, mare, stern, Die Zeit, NZZ and many others.
2009-2010 photo and film work for the Soccer for Life project with 2470media in South Africa, as well as camera work for Cape Town-based production companies Butterfly Films, Saltpeter Productions and others.
From 2009 member of the imagetrust photo agency.
He is currently working on his Bachelor's thesis project on submarine diamond mining with which he will graduate in summer 2011.


Felix Seuffert has been freelancing as a stills photographer for many years, which has given him the opportunity to travel most of Europe, several African countries and also the US and Japan.

Since 2009 he has worked as a Director of Photography in Cape Town, South Africa, for international clients including Lucid Pictures, Butterflyfilms, 2470media, The Big Issue, and the German Football Association (DFB).
As a photographer he has worked for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Stern, Mare, Der Spiegel, Brigitte, Die Zeit, and Neue Züricher Zeitung.

Felix has recently celebrated success with two of his short films. ?After the War' won the 2010 Deutscher Reporterpreis award for Best Web Reportage. ?Reflections' won the Documentary Filmmaker's Association ?My Town' award at the Encounters Film Festival.
