After a master's degree in economic and social management at INTES (Institut national du travail et des études sociales) in 2008, he started in the cinema by joining Propaganda Productions, one of the largest Tunisian production companies. He worked there as an assistant, mainly on advertising films and short films. In 2009, he won a place at ESAC (Ecole supérieure de l'audio-visuel et du cinéma) where he is currently studying screenwriting and directing. In 2011, thanks to the Belle-Ville association and the Trans-Maghreb project, he made "Freedom", his first fiction short filmed in Algeria.
