Principal country concerned : Column : Fine arts

Koko Komégné'style is primarily humanistic: it paints and it carves for man, for his liberalisation.
He has been waiting ten years before being recognized as a painter. He realised his first exposure in a restaurant of the district of Bali. In 1979, he melts with other artists the MADUTA Circle. This association of painters made it possible to organize twenty exhibitions sensitizing the Cameronian, French and American culturals centres. He doesn't hesitate to mix the cubism, surrealism, tachism by adding a note of africanity to it in order to create his own style, "the optical diversion". This concept is a whole of spiritual, morals, artistic and cultural values of the black world. His painting iconoclast has been sulky for a long time. His works and his personnality however played a crucial part in the recognition of the visual arts in Cameroun.
