South African Film Director and Producer.

Durban-born (in 1955), Ramadan SULEMAN was one of the founders of the Dhlomo Theatre in Johannesburg, South Africa's first "black" run theatre. He studied film directing in Paris and the London International Film School.
Suleman has directed several documentaries and short films.

His first feature, Fools, has won the Silver Leopard at Locarno in 1997. His second film, Zulu Love Letter was screened at Venezia Film Festival in 2004 and has won a number of
international awards, including a special mention at DIFF 2005 (Durban).
