Senegalese Film Director, film editor and Director of Photography.

Amath NIANE graduated from the School of Visual Arts (ESAV) of Marrakech in Direction / Sound / Montage (Promotion 2001) and Image (Promotion 2009).
He directed La Cité Claudel and a documentary about Senegalese rappers.
With Senegalese director Rama THIAW, he established the audiovisual production company BOUL FALLE IMAGES (BFI), around the African musical heritage, based in Dakar.
Amath is the Director of Photography for the shorts J'existe (by Demba Dia, 2016), Xalé Bu Rérr / A lost child 2017 and Un air de kora (A Kora tune), directed by Angèle Diabang (won the Bronze Foal / Poulain de Bronze and CEDEAO Best Female Film Director Award, at Fespaco 2019).
