Journalist and writer, Annick Peigné-Giuly has worked for the newspaper Libération from 1982 to 2006. She wrote a book about cinema posters in collaboration with Jean-Louis Capitaine (Les affiches du cinéma français, Seghers/Archimbaud Editions, 1986), a book of interviews with Pierre Desgraupes (Hors antenne, Quai Voltaire Editions, 1991), and a novel, A Paci (Grasset Editions, 1998). She also wrote Jéromine Benielli, une passion corse, in the "A woman, a nation" collection, Plon Editions (2000). She has been a member of the magazine Images documentaires editorial selection committee since 1999. In 2001, she directed a radio documentary for Colette Fellous' show "Carnet nomade" on France Culture.
