Burkinabese Journalist and writer.

Journalist by training, Baba HAMA graduated from the Lille-based School of Journalist. He is also a writer, author of several novels and short stories published by Kraal, Presses Universitaires de Ouagadougou and Harmattan. He served as Delegate General of FESPACO from 1996 to 2008 and has occupied high administrative (Chief of Staff) and ministerial positions in the sectors of Information and Culture in Burkina Faso. Baba HAMA sat as a member of jury at many film festivals, including Mons, Florence, Milan, Rotterdam and Amiens. In 2019, he is Member of the Feature film jury at 26th FESPACO, Ouaga, Burkina Faso.
