Nadine Cloete was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1981. She is interested in social problems and deals with questions linked to identity and culture. In 2005 she was awarded with Miseducation the first prize at the Atkv Short Film Festival and at the Youth for Human Rights International Film Festival in Los Angeles. In 2009 she partecipated with the documentary Jitsvinger: Maak it Aan at the 11th International Encounters Documentary Film Festival in South Africa and at the Africa In the Picture in the Netherlands. She is realizing some episodes for a children TV programme, working as production director for the documentaries Ikon and for the documentary Township Cinderellas produced by Al Jazeera. In 2011 she founded the production house Ma'engere Film Productions . In 2016, she released her feature documentary Action Commandant (Action Kommandant), about the South African activist Ashley Kriel.

Nadine Cloete (Khoi-San) is a young filmmaker based in Cape Town. She is passionate about producing films that focus on heritage and identity. Jitsvinger: Maak it Aan (Make it Happen) was her Honours film for the University of Cape Town.

Nel 2005 vince con Miseducation il primo premio all'Atkv Short Film Festival e allo Youth for Human Rights International Film Festival di Los Angeles. Nel 2009 partecipa con il documentario Jitsvinger: Maak it Aan al 11th International Encounters Documentary Film Festival in Sudafrica e all'Africa In the Picture in Olanda. Realizza alcuni episodi di un programma per bambini, lavora come direttore di produzione per la serie di documentari Ikon e per il documentario Township Cinderellas prodotto da Al Jazeera. Nel 2011 fonda la casa di produzione Ma'engere Film Productions. Al momento sta lavorando a un documentario sull'attivista sudafricano, Ashley Kriel.
