Habib AYEB is a film director and academic.
He is known for "Couscous: the seeds of dignity" (2017, documentary) and "Om Layoun" (2021, documentary).

He is a teacher-researcher at Paris VIII University in St-Denis (France) & at the American University in Cairo (AUC, Egypt).

Tunisian citizen, Habib AYEB is a geographer (social geography), teacher-researcher at the University of Paris 8 in Saint-Denis (France). His fields of research are quite diverse: competitions on agricultural and rural natural resources, poverty and marginality, social changes and movements, environment, development, climate change, food sovereignty… His research fields mainly cover Tunisia and Egypt.
He has six documentaries to his credit: "Om Layoun" (2021), "Couscous: the Seeds of Dignity" (2017), "Fellahin (Paysans)" (2014), "Gabès Labess" (2014), "Mirages Verts "(2012) and" On the banks of the Nile, shared water" / "Sur les bords du Nil, l'eau en partage" (2003).
