Mokhtar LADJIMI is a film director, screenwriter, producer and Festival director.

He is known for "Le cinéma Colonial" (1997), "Bab el Arch / Noce d'été" (2004), "Dicta Shot" (2015).

In 2022, he launched The MASTER INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (MIFF), a film festival that takes place in the city of YASMINE HAMMAMET, 1h southeast of Tunis, the Tunisian capital.

Born in 1957 in Monastir (Tunisia), Mokhtar Ladjimi graduated from IDHEC (Paris). His main films are Le cinéma Colonial (1997), Mille et une danses orientales (1999), L'orient des cafés (2000). Bab el Arch / Noce d'été (2004) is his first feature film. Dicta Shot (2015) is his second feature.
