Djouhra ABOUDA is a Director, Singer, Songwriter.
A young rebellious and runaway woman, Djouhra Abouda was introduced to experimental cinema at the University of Vincennes. It was there that she co-directed (with Alain Bonnamy) "Algérie couleurs (Algeria Colors)" and "Cinécité", then "Ali au pays des merveilles (Ali in Wonderland)", a punchy film that will have a certain impact.
In 1979, she founded the music group Djurdjura, group operates a fusion of modernity (folk, pop rock) and traditional melodies and rhythms of Kabylia and which will experience real worldwide success for many years.
