Cléo Cohen was born in 1993.
She studied French literature at the École Normale Supérieure de la rue d'Ulm and at the Sorbonne. On exchange in New York, she joined the documentary workshop of the Film School of Columbia University.
Back in France, she studied at the Lussas Documentary School where she directed her first short documentary, Avant le départ, which was selected in several festivals in France and abroad.
She is the author of two radio documentary series produced by France Culture, Dans le jus d'Orange (season 1), and Une saison en campagne dans le jus d'Orange (season 2).
In 2021, she completed the direction of her first feature film, Que Dieu te protège (May God Protect You) and works for La Série Documentaire on Arab Jewish identities.
