Gilles Remiche, was born in 1979 and graduated in "Video Art" at the University of East London. He first worked as assistant director before turning to directing in 2006 with his first film "Marchands de Miracles" ("Miracle Merchants"), a hard-hitting documentary about TV evangelists in Kinshasa, Congo.

He went on to direct a number of TV reports for Belgian and French Television for which he travelled extensively throughout Africa, the Middle-East and Europe. He has also created several video installations.
"Ghetto Millionnaires" (2010) is his second feature lenght film.
